I`m just going back to the past. I had a Red 1971 Honda CB 750 and I bought a 1975 to make it look like my first one. I was stationed in Germany with the US Air Force as an Aircraft mechanic working on Mcdonell douglas F4D Phantom II. I bought my first bike which was a brand new 1971 Triumph 500 Daytona three months before in which made a high speed off road incursion where I had this big crash that bent the frame removed front and rear lights and mangled the fenders. I spent a lot fixing it and I sold it. At that time I found out that they were selling CB750 Hondas at the Base Exchange and bought the first one they sold. It was a great investment as I used to ride all over in Germany and went to Belgium to watch moto cross races and to Spa to watch automovile racing. Also visited Luxemberg,France and Holland. The bike was very reliable. I installed Powroll performance dual disc brake kit,Paul Dunstall fiberglass front fender and a set of clubman handle bars. I also removed the muffler baffles. I had a lot of fun with that bike. That was 52 years ago.
