Erratic speedo and rpm needles…

Hey guys, have this issue from day on just forgot to ask about it. Well my speedo and rpm needles are working ok at speeds up to 40-50 miles and corresponding rpm for that speed but as my speed increases 60-70 needles bounce up and down. My rpm cable is new but my speedo cable is original.
Could this be due to needing lubrication is so
what’s best to use and how!?

I like dry graphite powder but I dont see it much anymore. I think they are all pretty much the same anyway.

I hear you, almost all of that GOOD OLD stuff is no longer because someone said it’s cause cancer in lab mice or it is bad for environment and replacement is pure shit!
I will try Motion Pro cable lube and see how it works.

It needs to be a graphite lube not a standard cable lube, graphite lube doesnt get sticky or collect dirt.

Oh, ok.
I just remembered, at work I have ton of moly-dry lube in spray can. It sprays but it dries to like graphite film, would that be good replacement fo graphite powder!?
