shouldnt there be 4 bolts ,everything i see only shows 2, sorry in advance i got this motor missing a lot of small parts ,

Are you talking about the part that has the little ball bearing in the middle with 4 holes around it? If so yes needs 4 bolts. If you want to post a picture of the part then we can be sure!

That's it,thanks , just weird all the odd stuff missing,don't think the previous owner was to mechanicaly inclined

The plate is easy to break the corners off if you tighten them down unevenly. So go a little at a time.
