High Idle ??

Just started my 77 cb750a after setting the carbs and adjusting the idle to what seems a vary low setting.
When i select 1st gear it will try to move if i don't hold the brake is the normal for this bike.
I haven't changed the oil yet could thin oil be the problem?

poorly adjusted clutch cable. always leave a little wiggle room with the clutch lever. but don't go too much.

Thanks but it has no clutch it's an automatic

When you put it in gear does the rpm increase? The automatics have a vacuum motor that bumps idle speed up when put into gear to keep it from stalling. You may need to adjust the idle up to a lower rpm.
