found broken in my engine???

hi guys, I need some help identifying what part this is. I pulled my motor to put new rings in it due to low compression on one side and pulled the cam cover off to find this laying there. I assume it is a cam chain guide or a tensioner. Also anyone have any laying around?

yup it is the chain guide for the top chain. It should be over the top of the chain.

Oh damn, I guess it's off to eBay to get one.
