As I'm sure this crops up a lot in the DOHC community, I'm looking for new cylinder studs for my CB750C. I have had zero luck finding aftermarket or NOS for both the 750C and the 750F, so I've decided to have a machine shop fabricate a set or two for me (unless someone has a secret stash somewhere). My super dumb question is: is there a real difference between the front and rear studs since they have different part numbers (90031-425-010 vs 90032-425-010)? It looks like one has a higher shoulder, but other than that, I'm not seeing anything obvious. On the diagram, the super sport knurled studs all share the same part number for both front and rear. Can I just have one set of 12 beefy studs made or is there something specific I need to tell the shop? Any info I can get would be greatly appreciated.
