Are the DOHC cb750's 12v or 6v?

Hey Guys, I'm sure someone is gonna say it just so they can up their post #'s but be aware I have searched the internets for days now with little answer.

I am looking to add an LED light cube headlight to my 1982 CB750C as a headlight

Some of the operation specs for this light are:

Specifications:
LED Power: 18W
Operating Voltage: 10-30V DC
Current draw 1.5A 12V, 0.75A 24V

Tail light is also 12 volt

My question is, will this work on my bike or will it be not enough current to really make this thing light up. I know the SOHC bikes are 6 volt but haven't found much in the DOHC world. I also am looking to run an LED tail light but those are it (no turn signals here)

Someone please help me so I can get to ordering parts

It is 12 volt.....the sohc is also 12 volt not 6 volt

Thanks! IDK why I saw so much about the SOHC bike being converted but oh well. At least now I can order my parts!

X2 post #2, both are 12 volt. Most multis are, it's the singles that are often 6 volt because they use magnetos for power. Mags can't make power for multiple coils easily, a design issue of sorts.
