1973 CB750 VIN question

Hello CB750.com,
I know this question has come up many times, but I cannot find a definitive answer. The engine number on my CB750 matches the VIN on the title, but the frame number does not. I know that the frame VIN is what counts and the frame numbers and engine numbers NEVER match. Is there a chance that someone got this all wrong during a title transfer somewhere down the line?
If so I will have to try and straighten this out at my motor vehicle department.
Has anyone ever dealt with this, or heard about anyone that has?

Never mind! The AZ MVD wrote in the wrong number when transferring the title. They corrected it and a new title is on the way.

I had the exact same issue with my 73. I had a title dating back to 1978 and it was listed that way. I think they just looked at the first number they saw. I also got a new correct title.
