looking for help with finding the year of a Honda cb750

I found a CB750 for sale, I believe this bike was imported from Japan to the US. The previous owner has passed away and is being sold as part of his estate. I believe the bike is a CB 750 four the vin number is not a metal tag on the frame, it is stamped directly on the frame and reads CB750-1107424. Does anyone have any info about this vin number or possible production year? I can't find it listed on any of the websites.

According to your chart above would that make the bike a late 71? I don't see any number that have a 11 to start.

It is a K1, it could be registered as a '71 or '72. A K2 would have a serial number begining with 20. I would guess the manufacture date that is on a plate on the steering head will have a date 6/71 - 9/71
