Whats in my air box?

I was given a 1992 cb750 non running. I love the challenge of getting old bikes back together and running. Going with stock. I'm pretty familiar with the workings of many old bikes but not sure what these little things in my air box near the air cleaner connecting tubes. It looks like something goes in these slots. Can't find anything in parts diagrams. Any Ideas?

I wouldn't worry about it if no parts are missing, the airboxes sometimes get used in more than one application and might use extra parts in that other case.
