Rear Wheel Lift

I need to do some work on my center stand and in general need a way to lift my 78 CB750 and hold it vertical. I have a bike lift but it is awkward to use due to the 4:1 exhaust on it. Has anyone here used a universal wheel stand, the kinda that pivot and pick the rear wheel up off the floor? If so did it work well and would you mind sharing with me what you used? I need to pick something up here in the next couple of weeks so I can start prepping for spring.

I use a floor-based front wheel chock to hold the bike. Less than a hundred bucks used. I don't have to worry about balancing the bike when taking it out of the chock.
