Yeah, I was wondering if that was your point. Best to remove the cam bearing caps and rockers to inspect the cam on that side. Looks like a lot of silicone was used on that head gasket. Problem with that is the excess silicone often finds its way to the oil orifices in the head, under the cam towers next to the cam chain tunnel. These orifices are quite small and easily plugged (especially by globs of silicone) that often leads to a roached cam, rockers, and cam tower(s).
