Faulty Cam chain rollers on sohc/4 forum

Just thought users on this forum would like to read about this topic over here....
Failure of Taiwanese cam chain rollers provided by aftermarket suppliers. If you have one I wouldn't be installing it...

The later DOHCs have the same aftermarket issue with the morse toothed camchains, the pins and links are nowhere near as strong, even on official Honda replacements too. Smaller diameter pins, the chains then break if hotrodded.

hotdog is referring to the timing chain adjusting rollers not the cam chain itself.
