I was wandering if any of you knows what the GE stands for; i can't find it anywhere?
usually the number is only with an E, can someone give any advice?
it is an engine i am about to restore.
I've not seen the G. Is it a sandcast? You can count the clutch cover bolts, sandcast have 9 later have 10 but you probably knew that. Replacement cases were stamped in the shop that installed the case. That has accounted for some variances. I own a blank replacement case and a blank replacement frame.
