I’m rebuilding the front brake caliper on my 1980 CB750K. When I took it apart, the slide rod bushings were no longer intact, so I’m not sure where they’re supposed to go, or how many I’m supposed to have.
I’ve found some rebuild kits that come with 2 bushings, and some that come with none.
I’ve seen videos online where people have rebuilt without any bushings, but their slide rides seem to be identical to each other. My upper slide rod doesn’t have the same grooves as the lower slide rod.
Basically just trying to figure out how many bushings I’d need, and which grooves they’d fit into. Any help would be appreciated!
