I've been looking around (again) for ammo cans to mount as saddle bags. I'm thinking about using the "fat" .50 cal cans and was wondering if anyone knew a decent way to mount them.
At first I thought, "drill some holes and just throw them on there" but quickly realized that would be bad. So other than spending too much on prefabricated mounts that probably won't last are there any ideas?
