hi all,
bought a used tank off of a K5, petcock on the left side...it was missing the petcock so I ordered a cheap knock off...it won't screw onto the tank bung, the new petcock diameter is too small and the threads seem narrower also....I think the width 18mm wide... before I go ahead and order the big buck OEM part, I see that they are 20mm wide, with a 1.5mm thread, I tried to measure the tank bung diameter, and I thinks its 20mm.. the tank is not a K2 tank for sure, I have a K2 with petcock on right side, so this tank is 1973 or later...do all the K3,4,5, and 6 have the same diameter, is it 20 mm ? thanks
