I'm actually making a king & queen seat for it this week. And it's getting a longer narrow twisted metal springer and spool 21". Will post more pictures after that
Front 64 spoke wheel from a '81 XS650 including, forks, rim, hub, caliper, fender etc. Rear 48 spoke wheel from a '81 XS650. Left side engine covers professionally polished. New handlebars controls from http://www.vintagecb750.com/. PAMCO Ignition (Of course!)
My '81 custom. Love it!
All original when I bought it a year ago with 11,000 miles on it. Since then, I have re-built the carbs, made a lower seat for it, made saddle bags, changed bars/grips and mirrors, replaced carb boots, put drop shocks on it, etc. She runs great!
Whats this "front guard" thing? Is it only us North Americans that call it what it is, A front fender? lol
I dont have a front fender and I have logged many many miles in the rain. Sure its a little soggy sometimes but I dont go out with the intent to ride in the rain either. I say ride it!!!!
Hello from Roseburg, OR!
I recently came into possession of an original Santi plunger framed SOHC cb750. It is titled as a '71 cb750, and I had it running and after about 50 miles one of the bearings in the motor seized. I haven't done anything to it since, but just recently picked up two DOHC 750 motors and am currently looking into putting one of them into the frame for now until I can come up with an older replacement motor or repair the one it came with. Anyway.. on to the obligatory pic...
My current project 1974 CB750 was in very bad shape, had been sitting under a tarp for about 20 years, a lot of rust, no battery, rims almost rusted through, exhaust pipes rusted but useable. I painted the frame, laced up new rims, still need to re-wire and get the engine running
My 1974 Sunburst Orange Metallic. Bought last year from a gent in Ohio. I just picked up a nicer set of HM341 exhausts yesterday also from Ohio. The 1975 Antares Red was a deal I just could not pass up. A 1982 Nighthawk 750SC I have had for several years. . More pics in my album. Berm
