    Coil diagnostics

Yep, been chasing my tail for awhile. Compression is good, and re-did the points & timing way too many times, and no kill switch any longer. Which kind of brought me around to the coils being shot. Normally you would test resistance between different plug sockets, but when I tried doing that at...

    Coil diagnostics

G'day gentlemen, Anybody know a good way to check if coils on a SOHC are good? I have power to the coils, and good resistance across the terminals, but since the plug wires are hard wired (I think) to the coils how do you check resistance there? Or is that not a good test? The bike runs (sort...

    What plugs??

Excuse the hell out of me.

    What plugs??

I think most people would agree that an acceptable alternative is the Champion RA8HC (or #810). They are available at almost every auto parts store if you get caught somewhere. But a resistor plug has different spark duration so best to stay with the NGK.

rejet for pods and 4 into 1 exhaust for '77 hondamatic

Well, not knowing much about the 'matics all I can say is on my '77 F that I'm using 120 mains and 42 idles with a MAC 4-1 and V-stacks so that may get you in the general neighborhood. I got my jets from Sirius and haven't had any issues with them. Hope that helps.

    Step 1 - How to obtain a CB750

Wear black leather, hang out in biker bars and tell everyone you don't have a bike. I'm sure someone will help you... Umm maybe that's not a good idea afterall. I found mine in the front yard of some guys house with a for sale sign on it. C/L is probably the best if your buds can't steer you...

    1976 fuel tank on a 1972 CB750

There are plastic T connectors you can get on eBay that work well. The diameter of the petcock is bigger than your carb inlets so make sure you get the right size connector. I put my HD tanks on my '70 750 chop and it works fine.

    '76 clutch basket interchangeability

Umm sorry to go off topic a bit but just out of curiosity do you guys know why they changed things and made the clutch basket deeper in order to add that spacer plate? I never really knew what exactly it was supposed to do - if anything except take up space. Does it supposed to have a function?
