I have a 1977 hondamatic it was starting fine put new gas into it and now it wont start can anyone help me do some tests to try to fix the problem please kennyknope@gmail.com or respond on here to me please and thank you

Have you done any trouble shooting? Fuel getting to the float bowls? Does it have spark?

Yes both thing are happening

Checked for blocked jets? If you have fuel and spark at the correct times then you have a mechanical issue.....no compression, slipped cam timing, broken cam chain, etc. You gotta check the basics. Engines need air, fuel, spark, compression to run...if one is missing it wont run. something else has to have happened that we dont know about. Do the simple stuff first, check all your basics.

Ok thanks a lot I pulled my spark plugs they were black

Plugs are dead. Even more so if they were wet too. When black they short down the sides and the motor doesn't start.

No time line given there, starting fine is worthless if that was 3 months ago. If they use ethanol in your local fuel the carbs now clogged up.
