Gas blow by

I had not started my 1979 CBK750 for 3 years - health issues...I charged up the battery, checked all the fluid and the sucker fired up right away...it kept stalling, I assumed it was gummy gas, so I kept working the choke to keep it running...finally got it to run smoothly and then it blew gas out..smoking from hitting the mufflers...I shut it down..lots of gas on the garage floor...I'm assuming a gas line blew..anybody have ideas?

carb floats not seating been stood far too long , needs tlc

Turn the petcock on and see where the leak comes from. It could be along the fuel rail between the carbs, from a carb bowl overflowing, or the fuel line from the petcock. Gotta find out

Thanks..will do...I am thinking perhaps a split fuel line..they are ONLY 45 years old..

Pulled the carbs, cleaned everything up, all nozzle's cleaned...runs rough and only with the choke pulled out, off and on..any ideas?
