Clutch Noise

My ‘81 CB 750 custom has clutch noise but only when the engine is hot, when I’m on the gas and it stops when I pull the clutch. Any ideas? I’m just assuming it’s the clutch.

It could be a few different things. First like Brett said, check the oil. Next it could be excessive ware in the clutch "basket" lets call it and the clutch plates are rattling around. Also it could be the dampeners that are built into the basket. I see Vintage CB750 sells the parts to repair this problem. Here it is:

Oh and you posted your problem in the wrong section. You are in the SOHC section. You should be over in the DOHC section.
