Can't get it to start up

Hey guys,

I went to fire up my '77 CB750A this year and couldn't get it to turn over. After I replaced the battery and cleaned the carbs it still isn't firing up. It sounds the same as before I cleaned the carbs. If I spray starter fluid it will run for a few seconds but then dies. I found out it will turn oer for a second if I have the air intake on the carbs almost completely covered. (I have the air intake box taken off right now)

Any suggestions? I haven't had any issues like this in the past with this bike.

Is it running to lean, too rich?

Way too lean if covering the intake makes it run.

Yeah...definitely not getting fuel..maybe there is still some gunk in the carbs
