Can you help identify this bike?

I'm looking to find a CB750 to play with this winter. Found this on Craigslist. I don't think it's a 1969. Or a 250. I think it's either a 550 or a 750. What do you think? I called an talked to him but couldn't get anymore info. Thanks.

Definitely not a 69 of any model or a 250. Not really up to date on the later model stuff. Seems like a guy trying to dump a bike to someone that doesnt know what they are looking for. I would stay far away and look else where.

It looks like a Nighthawk without the side covers

Engine is not the same, It looks more like a 650 engine, thinking its around a 80 cb650.

Correct. One of the early ones before they switched to the same CV carbs as the DOHC 750 used.

If it pulls like a 250, I'd hold your money and run.

The owner found the title. It's a 1980 cb650. My search for a 750 goes on.

Still a decent bike though. I had one, plenty of power.
