Broken Ear on Carb Float

I broke an ear on the Float ear that holds the Float pin in place,.,I thought I might be able to JB Weld it in place.,,Or just go and put JB Weld on pin and then place more JB on pin ear s this a good solution,.? Or get another Carb body,.?

Randakk makes a repair kit. Doubt JB Weld would last long.
