how much oil goes into the front forks of an 01 nighthawk and what weight. mine are very stiff

On my chopper amen frame, the ride is very teeth rattling when i hit road expansions. what can be done to soften this up and be alot smooter. thanks john

Looking for some pictures of the innards of my lowers. Supposed to be a 69-70 by the picture of my lowers. Ive taken them apart to replace the tubes. My innards do not look like anything ive seen in any books. Does any one have pictures of a 69-72 lower taken apart?
