    To restore or to customize

Hello Everyone! I am new here but I have been following along for a little while now. I have been debating whether to completely restore my 1976 cb750 or to just customize it into a cafe looking bike. Not sure I am going to keep this one so it would be more for resale. So i guess my question is...

    My $100 CB750 Bobber build

Picked up a 1980 CB750 for $100. Runs, drives and has a clean title for once. Got it cheap because, well, it was UGLY and the guy lived in an apartment and had no way to fix it up. Had a couple little issues, throttle was hooked up backwards, carbs needed synced and again, it was ugly as sin...

    Sealing up a '78 750K Tank Flap

Quick check on sanity before I head down this path, but I have a 1978 CB750K with the fuel tank flap cover. I'm not a fan. So plan here is twofold. First, knock the tank in and down a bit for knee inserts and then (the tough part) I'm thinking take off the flap, remove the current fuel cap...

Hey fellas Just removed the carburetor for the first time ever in my life. That was fun, took a lot of elbow grease. It looks to be in good shape which is nice. The guy who sold it to me last summer said he had just cleaned the carbs, I guess he wasn't lying.. Anyways, what do I do here...

Hello, new to the cb750 world, diving in and would like some electrical help.

First of all I'd like to say hi, my name is Rick, and I'm an addict. I really enjoy these old motorcycles though I've been lucky enough over the last three years to skirt heavy electrical issues. I started riding when I was 17, and shifted my weight to older model bikes over the years. This is...

    Wider Comstar?

I have grown to like the look of the Comstar wheels on my Super Sport. However, I would like to eventually put a wider tire on the rear. The width of 2.15" really limits the choices. Did Honda make a wider Comstar (not reversed style) that will fit the disc brake? Goldwing maybe?

    Bigger sprocket or chain tensioner?

I need to vent some ideas. My rear fender is kind of a PITA. Due to how it's mounted I had to use one extra link in my chain. That + that I use a 18" rear wheel instead of a 16" results in that my chain tensioning bolts in my plunger is to short. I can't get my chain to stretch enough, or if I...
