Thanks, I managed to pick up a Motad Neta 4 into 1 from eBay for less than £80. It’s from the 80’s and I think it was from a CB750/900 as an aftermarket part. It’s a bit functional but at some point I’ll want to chop it as it has a brushed steel end can which isn’t great looking!!

I had that. Turned out the previous owner had put it eBay type floats (fully plastic, not adjustable). I replaced them with adjustable (plastic and metal) OEM substitutes from David Silver spares and that sorted it. That was on a 79.

Hi all, In case this is going to be useful for anybody I wanted to post my fairly low cost solution to replacing the steering stops on a GSXR 750, 2007 front end swap on a 1979 CB750 DOHC. Having already bought and fitted the Cognito Moto stem the main problem was that the CB and GSXR steering...

That’s the solution I think.

I still have the two sets of the original down pipes up until just after the join. You can see one in this image. They have cleaned up pretty good.

I ended up chopping the side stand up and taking out a few mm. just need to paint/powder coat it.

Yes!! I think I even wrote tach, deleted it and wrote speedo!!

Hi, is there a blanking plate or similar for the speedometer cable from the top of the rocker cover? I'm using a digital speedo rather than a mechanical one. Thanks, Andrew
