Hey guys,
so this is my first post and first time really being on this site. Not too long ago I picked up this beautiful 1978 Honda cb750k for a steal of $175. The seller said he ran it, then put it away outside and it sat for two years. When my friend and I showed up to scope it out, EVERYTHING checked out well. Kicked over easy with great compression and spark, electrics worked, gas tank was sparking clean on the inside, all signs of a start to an easy, stress free build. We purchased it on the spot. After getting it home, cleaning out the carbs and the mouse infested air box, adding new fuel and the normal check ups, it fired right up after a few kicks. One problem, cylinder 4 was not firing. After trying many things, we re-wired coil 2&3 to cylinder 4 as well, leaving out the 4th cylinder coil. After this, cylinder 4 began working. All that is needed now is a new coil and she will be ride-able after fixing the brakes
