CB900FC with a Neutral light problem

I have a CB900FC with a Neutral light problem , It works as normal if i put it in gear light go's out but when i pull in the clutch lever when in gear it come's back on any idea's .

You need to check your diode. It is under the seat and attached to the wiring harness. Unplug it from the white connector. Then try pulling in the clutch. If the neutral light does not come on now, you need to replace it. It is still available from Honda, Part# 31700-124-008.

Without the diode the starter will not engage unless the clutch is pulled in, even in neutral.
