CB750 DOHC into CB750 SOHC

Hi, Has anyone ever tried fitting a CB750 dohc motor into the cb750 sohc frame ? my main question is will fit in the space ? will ex plane why later .

You can do anything with a cutting torch and a welder. I have seen it half-ass done, they cut the frame up bad. You couldn't pay my to ride it. I'm sure the right people could do a good job of it, but why would you want to? I like the SOHC motor better, but I guess that is just me.

Anything is possible but you are taking a step backward by putting a dohc in a sohc frame. The dohc frame is better handling frame and the sohc motor is a better motor. IMO
