    As i understand it, those boots WILL shrink up a bit. I just ordered a set from 4into1 as mine are too short.

    Wondering, can a 1982 cb750 C carb set work on my 1980 K model. Can just the number TWO carb work with my 750K carb set up ?

    Adjustable floats seem more reliable. But, if the seat is bad, it wont matter...seems that a float just floats, should control the flow of fuel.

    Polish the inside of the needle seats. Didn't help me, but it might work in your case.

    I put a new kit in and polished all valve seats. Carbs still won't control the fuel flow... 1980 CB750K VB 42A I think maybe the carb kit may have been wrong. ??? Now looking to just pay to get them right...🤐 Any contacts to do this job for me??

    Well, my fuel needles are not seating. My issues are with the seat valves Not sealing. They are pressed in and ( need replaceing ) ?? Any way to replace those seat valves? Best way to clean them ?

    Well, probably bout $5 in parts and some black stuff filled in. $129 ×2 = $258 No, thats not cheap ! I'm going to learn more about them. Take one apart and see how they Work. 🤔

    The orings in the kit suck. Isnt there a better oring out there? Like viton.. A bit fatter and tight when connected.

    Never Use this stuff to soak your carbs ! Will discolor the metal . NOT a good idea...

    VB 42 .. Make sure the carbs are perfectly aligned when tightening the rails. Make sure that darn spring is properly connected that pulls the flaps open and shut.

    Hard to pull Carbs Off Cylinders

    I use a tie down type wynch ratchet to pull those in line 4 carbs out easily. You can also use this method to pull them back into place on the motor.

    300 Grit Wheel

    Use a 300 grit wheel on a table grinder, like 1"X 6". Great for shinning up those carb parts.

    Rebuilding my VB42A carbs. I use a guitar string to clean very tight holes, like idle jets, brake cables That are clogged.
