Until I read instructions nearly identical to these I fought to get it on the stand... now it's easy peasy!

When I turn tightly I drag exhaust where the 4 combine into 2. I'm a big guy and suspect it may have something to do with my rear suspension, and/or needing to adjust how the exhaust hangs... Any suggestions?

How I learned... I grabbed a spanner and started removing bits at a time. Seriously you don't give us any idea what condition the bike is in, does it run at all, does it turn over, does the electric work, etc, etc... what's your comfort level with mechanical tasks? I'm the sort that can look...

Ironically I had one of these bolts sieze up to the point I couldn't get it apart last night. Even tried cutting a slot in the nut end so I could hold it in place with a screwdriver but still couldn't get it to budge. Currently my airbox is held together with zip ties, the grooves guide them...

Mine was easy, remove the caps with a crescent wrench, remove the drain plugs with a 10mm wrench, work the forks til the oil (sludge) stops coming out... I removed the springs and wiped them down, replaced and added the new oil. The caps were under slight spring tension even with the front...

I used 10W30, manual said to use that or tranny fluid. I also used 1oz of Marvels Mystery Oil in hopes of de-gunking some of the gunk. Plans are to drain/refill in about a month.

So I drained the fork oil last night and replaced it... The manual said 6.5oz each fork, I got just barely over 6oz out of both of them. The bike rides WAY different now! As a side note, the wife wasn't overly pleased that I used her measuring cup... apparently it's now my measuring cup, and...

To clarify I don't get squat out of the bleeder unless I squeeze it. The flow comes when I remove the bleeder entirely. Replaced it tonight, dealership have me the wrong part first try.

When I remove said bleeder brake fluid flows out... is that indicative of a problem?

The old ones busy keeping the brake fluid in... I guess I can have my wife hold her thumb on the hole while I run to the store ;).

While working on my brakes I discovered the bleeder valve was mostly stripped. I ordered a replacement from my local honda shop and when I went to replace it, I found the one they gave me was too big! They both fit an 8mm wrench but the threaded portion of the replacement was 1-2mm bigger than...

So when I got my 78 CB750K the front brakes didn't have any juice in them, there was a rag tied around the master cylinder, and when I asked the PO why he said it was to stop brake fluid from getting on his dress pants... Since then I've torn the whole 9 yards down and built it back up. I...

I'd buy it for $500, as mentioned you could part it out for much more. Looks cleaner than my $500 CB750K8, but mine wasn't frozen up.
