When I turn tightly I drag exhaust where the 4 combine into 2. I'm a big guy and suspect it may have something to do with my rear suspension, and/or needing to adjust how the exhaust hangs... Any suggestions?

How I learned... I grabbed a spanner and started removing bits at a time. Seriously you don't give us any idea what condition the bike is in, does it run at all, does it turn over, does the electric work, etc, etc... what's your comfort level with mechanical tasks? I'm the sort that can look...

Ironically I had one of these bolts sieze up to the point I couldn't get it apart last night. Even tried cutting a slot in the nut end so I could hold it in place with a screwdriver but still couldn't get it to budge. Currently my airbox is held together with zip ties, the grooves guide them...

Mine was easy, remove the caps with a crescent wrench, remove the drain plugs with a 10mm wrench, work the forks til the oil (sludge) stops coming out... I removed the springs and wiped them down, replaced and added the new oil. The caps were under slight spring tension even with the front...

I used 10W30, manual said to use that or tranny fluid. I also used 1oz of Marvels Mystery Oil in hopes of de-gunking some of the gunk. Plans are to drain/refill in about a month.

To clarify I don't get squat out of the bleeder unless I squeeze it. The flow comes when I remove the bleeder entirely. Replaced it tonight, dealership have me the wrong part first try.

When I remove said bleeder brake fluid flows out... is that indicative of a problem?

Number 3 still leaks, I replaced the fuel cock and this problem has gone away as long as I remember to turn off the fuel.

None of the snap ring pliers I could find would do the job, I was able to get the clip out with a few assorted picks, one started straight and now has a nice useful S curve on the end... Rebuilt the master cylinder and replaced the seal on the caliper along with new brake pads and the stopping...

The nudge/switch makes sense, I had noticed that but thought it was an old squishy switch not a feature. I have no idea if they are stock indicators :), pictures are here. Oddly enough the right side now flashes, the left does not... I haven't changed anything other than riding it a little.

I need to clean my neutral switch apparently :), that green light gets old. The Solenoid has 2 places 12V should reach it, obviously one of the big nuts on top will have 12V, and when you cross that to the other one your bike cranks over... The other place is the line from your main fuse, that...

So going through the things that aren't working right on my 1978 CB750 I found that the turn signals don't blink. I assume this has something to do with the relay either being bad or the bulbs not drawing enough juice, I have a few things to try to fix it... but I was looking at the wiring...

Will it start if you hold the clutch in? And have you checked to see if you get 12V to the solenoid when you hit the start button? If so, you have a bad (albiet new) Solenoid.

So I look out this morning and there's a gas puddle under my bike. My first thought was I failed to turn off the petcock again, but upon inspection this was not the case. As I was looking over the bike I saw a stream of fuel start coming out of one of the hoses that drain from the carbs...
