What is the normal range for compression on these bikes? Also there has been a lot a talk about the accelerator pump being bad from other forum discussions that I have seen. Any truth to that?
Ok I took my 82 out for a ride after cleaning carbs. It starts great runs and idols good carbs are synchronized but the acceleration is not there. There's no snap to the bike.

82 CB750 Custom.......I got the carbs off (that was a task) and have them all broke down and ready to be cleaned. What is the best way to go about this? On other types of carbs I have used brake cleaner and compressed air and some elbow grease. Thoughts?
Morning gentleman!!! After work my 1982 CB750C will be in my driveway and ready to get reborn!!!! I am excited to start this process and have a project to work on. I will post pics as soon as I can.

I believe with a little work it will. I have not had it delivered yet, but my buddy took a look at it for me and said it is in really good shape. It was running in 2010 and was stored away in a heated shed after that.
