Seat Bolt size?

I have a ‘79 cb750k that I just acquired, and while moving it across the state, both bolts managed to back out and the seat flew off on the highway. Luckily I think no one was hurt, but the seat is tore up, and I have no idea what size bolts are needed for it. Any help is appreciated. Also, if anyone has leads on a solid quality seat I am interested!

I'm fairly sure the bolts are M8 by 1.25 but I'd have to go double-check mine. You'd want at least 25mm thread length.

Thank you, yea literally just got out of ace hardware… by some miracle one of the bolts managed to stick in the bed of my truck and so was able to get 2 new replacements, M8 by 1.25, 12 thread

When I have a question like this I use Ron Ayers parts look up. The slides give part # and fastener size. They also have a fair amount of OEM parts.
