I recently had my two chain tensioners reset. The engine seemed pretty dead quiet, but a tiny bit of noise that is only audible if not in traffic, at idle, has creepd back in. Would that be normal or am I looking at pulling the engine to replace chains?

The noise goes away with a tiny rev, but my carbs where synced... Although perhaps one is now incorrectly synced since the carbon in that cylinder and head it is just now clearing up.

I understand it all, just don't know what normal is yet with these bikes.

They are pretty noisy. Mine makes a small rattling sound when warmed up and idling in nuetral. At 1st I thought it was the cam chain but eventually realized it's from the transmission. Pull in the clutch and the sound stops.

I'll check with the clutch but I think it still does it. It is probably normal, I think at this point. Given that I have 29k on the engine and it has been babied a lot by previous owners.
