HMC B 750 exhaust system

I have just purchased a 1971 K1 and have the opportunity to purchase some Honda OEM NOS exhaust pipes. They are not the HMC 300 that most people prefer. These pipes were made later (1980's I think ) and are marked HMC B 750, but aside from some EPA emissions stuff stamped on the side, they look just like new original pipes. These new pipes are listed for 1972 thru 1976 CB 750s.

I feel pretty sure they will bolt onto my 1971 K1 with no problem. Does anyone know the difference between the K0-K1 OEM exhaust pipes and those for the K2 thru K6?

Yes they should bolt on. The new ones are a lot more restrictive then the K0 exhaust. The 300 was a straight through pipe with a removable internal glass pack. Everything after the 300 had permanent internal baffles. They added more baffles as the production continued through the years.
