I dunno.. . . . for some reason? . . . Ever since I think? . . . the original Battlestar Galactica (Back in the 80's) I have not been able to follow
Any TV series that is a continuing story all the way through! I have tried over the years . . . . I did not watch much TV in the 90's & early 2k's (2 bzzee fuggin' partying al the time . . ), and during the infancy of reality tv . . . pretty much any TV series was shite!. . . all I could follow, was Seinfeld, quite a lot of Star Trek and the occasional mini-series .. . . . But you could miss an episode, or 5 and it didn't really matter.. . (except the mini-series). .
With the newer series.. . As I found out after tuning in regularly to watch "Dexter" for a whole season. Then missing the second and third edisode, of Season 2, and tuning back into the third episode, . . . and missing key plot elements . . . . I gave the fuck up!
A buddy at work recently loaned me the entire 2009 - 2011 "V" discs. which I thought was great, because I watched some of the original 1983 series and I don't have broadcast television in my basement shop
(Where so far, this winter I've worked on my XS650, rolled it out, and rolled in the XS400,which I'm currently devoting time to. At the first good sign of spring thaw I will roll in the CB750, as it only needs a couple weeks in here before I am ready to fire it up
). But I do have double monitors on my computer, and a solid DVD/VHS setup. So watching like . . 2 or 4 episodes in a row, while tickling these 2 wheeled beasts into a state of function just makes me more exuberant to visit the man space. . .
. .Now I can follow a series on DVD while I am working on my bikes. . . . . Great huh?
The same buddy from work is a big Zombie fan, so last year, he filled me in to the start of the story and I tuned into about the second or third episode of the first season of "Walking Dead" and missed a couple episodes, then tuned in again and . . . . . "Dexter" all over again. . . So now I'll wait for him to buy the DVDS to watch it, and get in some quality bike/tv time . . . . . . . . .. Good pot . . by the way!
