oil lines

hi just bought a 78 cb750,hasn't ran in 10 yrs,when I changed oil,leaking from line,at connection to tank,took off both lines,previous owner had a washer in there,now im just wondering if there's a crush washer that goes in there,as I think he had washer in there to try to stop leak,or maybe line is done,any help greatly appreciated

Yes they are supposed to have an aluminum washer in there...that is what actually seals the hose to the tank.

ok thanks dirtdigger,looked everywhere,one of my buddies gave me copper crush washers to try,gonna see if I can find some aluminum ones

Local Honda dealers should have them. Servicehonda.com has them, I get a lot of parts from them, they ship fast.
