Hey everyone this is my first time building a bike by myself. I picked up this hacked up CB750 for cheap. The guy started to do a resto. I want to get this build finished as cheap as possible.

The guy I bought it from chopped the seat:banghead:

He also chopped the side tubes, and I cannot find a good tank for it. Can anyone give me some advice on a gas tank? there is only a 13 inches on the back bone. Links would be much apriciated.

My todo list:

  • Remove everything from the frame (Completed 5/10/2015)
  • Correct the frame INPROG
  • Rust-X and repaint frame
  • Redo the motor(Includes repainting due to rust) INPROG
  • Refurbish Wiring
  • Rebuild Carburator
  •
(Will be posting more todo's )

If you have any questions, comments, or advice it would be greatly apriciated! Again this is my first Motorcycle build, and I always can use the help!

Looks good so far! If you need advice with the carbs let me know. I was so afraid to do mine at first, but I'm glad I did. I also have a 79 cb750,. So we should have the same carbs.
