Let's see your CB750

Your exhaust... I did that very same removing the slide on part to mine as well and she sounds wonderful but doesn't run as proper, did you experience the same and if so have your remedied the issue?

Here is my 1979 Honda CB750 with a AMEN hardtail frame, TC Bros forward controls, TC Bros bars, mid 90's HD sportster front end. Nothing super fancy but it runs like a champ and is fun as heck to ride. This winter it is going to get a complete make over. Would really like to go to a bigger wheel in the back with disk brake. We will see when I get to that point but for now, Im going to keep on riding it.

If your referring to my bike then yes you have to re jet your bike if you modify your exhaust and/or intake

1980 CB750K. I got this bike in a "Basket" condition. Complete teardown and frame up restoration including swing arm bushings and steering bearings. Engine was completely rebuilt and cylinders bored to 65mm. Head was totally restored and decked with new valves, springs and guides. The cam is from a CB900. Wiseco pistons installed bringing the displacement to 823 and the compression to 10.5:1. MAC 4 into 1 Megaphone exhaust and a Set of Keihn CR-35 Carburators top off the engine. Wiring was all replaced with only what was needed to start and run. No frills here. Gearing has been changed as well from the 46 t rear sprocket to a 38 t. Also we drilled out the sync ports in the head to install NOS injection. We also added a Rock City Café Seat, Vortex Clip on bars, Dime City Rear sets and a brand new set of Shinko Tires.

The Stinkster as we have nicknamed it has run 124.6 MPH at Bonneville and 131.1 MPH at the Texas Mile. We have has issues with the engine reaching the rev limit in the measured mile so a new Dyna ignition has been ordered. Next year it will run in the AMA Classic Motorcycle Class and we should do 140 to 150.

Here is My `78 cb750 all washed and polished up. It needs work but not a bad start. I can`t wait to start getting serious work done on it. Also some sick bikes in this thread!

Greetings all from sunny England.

I have just brought a 1991 CB 750 Nighthawk as a Cafe Racer project bike. Have always worked on bikes but this will be my first full project, which I am doing in honor of my father who passed away 2 years ago with cancer.

I have joined up for inspiration from other guys that are doing similar projects and maybe to ask the odd question when I get stuck on some thing.

My sl750

My first bike was a 1970 Honda sl100, so when I found this 80 cb750k that needed a lot of work I figured I would base it on my first bike.Plus it would have a little more power to haul my big ass around now. Hope you like it.

Got her about a month ago. Titled as a '76. I posted the VINs on one forum and was told that it was a 74 frame and 76 engine, also told that it was all 76, a bike shop near where I live told me it was a 75. I don't think I will ever know what it is, but I am happy with her.
