Does anyone know what this is for?

It's threaded like something is supposed to be there, but there's nothing on the fiche and I've never seen a picture of a CB with something there. Is it for another model that Honda uses the same forks for? Maybe a reflector?? Just curious. Thanks!

Its a caliper mount for a second disk brake. If you look its a mirror image of the other side. Nothing was there from the factory. I am guessing Honda thought they may have to add another another disk or was there so they could add a second disk for racing purposes.

It is for mounting a disc calliper. Some models have twin front disc brakes.
