blinker question

the flasher is stuck. the amp draw makes the flasher heat up fast, and then it opens, cools down and closes, again and again. either its just stuck or the heater is bad. some flashers use a motor, but not honda. its a little silver rectangle with 2 wires on it. under the seat by the battery, behind the left cover. any 2 wire flasher will work, as long as its a light or standard duty. do not buy a heavy duty or 4 way flasher.
turn them on, let them warm for a second or 3 and tap on it.

Could a bad flasher cause one of my front blinkers to stay on all the time and blink off when I move the switch and the other to stay off and blink on? In other words, the light on one side is always on while the other is not, but both lights blink when I move the switch.

Secondary question, which is correct? On all the time, or off all the time?

when you turn them on you need 2 lights to come on or it wont work. if you only have one bulb lit it wont draw enough to make it flash.
If you only have one light lit, it will stay on continously. If both front and back come on and stay on its your flasher
