    I have a stock 74 cb 750k that i am having problems getting it to fire properly on all 4 cylinders. I rebuilt the carbs and bench synced them and set proper float height.     Santee oil tank questions

    The inside diameter was 1/4 I have already changed it to a standard 3/8 od or 5/16 id . I think 5/16 id will probably be big enough ?

    I think it is a 5/16 od flair i have 3/8 od fittings they are to big and i have 1/4 od flair fittings they are to small. It is definatly a mail flair fitting but i'm not positive that it is 5/16.

    It was around 16 yrs ago when i sync the carbs i did use 4 vacuum gauges made for sync carbs it was a set i borrowed from a fend i don't think it was a very good set. If i remember right i struggled with the vacuum being really erratic causing the gauges to bounce alot i will by a new set next...
