New owner of an 81 cb750

Hey guys I just got a 81 cb750 and has been sitting a while and needs some work. Glad to meet everyone and let the project begin.

Looks like a cafe project someone else abandoned! Pretty paint, but some very poor decisions for function...
Do yourself a favor and either find a stock airbox to ditch those pod filters, or swap to a different set of carburetors.

I'm definitely thinking some murray carbs.

Solid choice -- with a proper setup the bike will run smoother, and with more power, than those pods could ever achieve on the stock carbs.

Yea the original carbs are leaking fuel so will need to be cleaned/rebuild and thats running around 400 so why not. I need to somehow move or get a new seat so there is not that gap between tank and seat with new handle bar. I feel like i gotta be 6 ft with 3fr torso to reach them handles
