Hi All,
Just wanted to introduce myself. I recently purchased this 1979 Honda CB750K. It's the exact same model I bought new way back in January, 1980. It runs pretty good and the cosmetics are excellent. The first thing to address are new tires as the ones present are 15 years old. A couple of questions:
1. The rims are 19/1.85 in front and 18/2.15 in rear. Is this the OEM size?
2. I'm thinking 19" 100/90 in front and 18" 120/90 in back. Does it matter that the aspect ratio is kept the same? My manual states OEM tires were 19x3.50 front and 18x4.25 rear, but I can't seem to find tires paired in those sizes. Recommendations?
