1979-83 gas tank cap fit both the K and the F?

Question. Have a 79 Honda CB750 F, and need a gas cap.
Will a 79-83 CB750 K version fit? It looks like it would.
I'm thinking it will, as it has the recess for the gas tank cap swing arm lock assembly... but I'm guessing.
Don't like guessing!
