    1981 Honda CB750C Multiple Issues

    Dose anyone have an idea what his charging issue is.. I got the same problem with mine...charges when on throttle up to 14.5 at idle its like 11.8ish....I can ride it 45 min no problem till I turn it off...it won't start...wait 20min fires right up....any ideas will be greatly appreciated

    Wont start after 30 min ride..

    Took my 81 custom 750 out the other day ride great..problem happens when I'm done with the ride.. it's obviously hot from the ride an it acts as if the battery is dead..hard to turn over.. let it cool off for a few an she fires right up as usual...not sure if it's a valve train issue..bottom...

    An yeah I will agree it will do it fine...just seams 30 miles running 65 at 5,000 rpm isn't great for a 40yr old bike...wanted to change sprockets

    I'm new to this style bike had a 05 R6 for many years now I know the 81 cb750c isn't even close the same but I would think 60mph an tacking 5,000 rpm is a bit hard on her...ol'girl runs like a top just seams she's reving extra high on highway...umm was thinking sprocket change would help just...

    No matter of adjustment cluth still drags, do I need a new one?

    I pulled my old basket out the riveted gear on the back definitely has play in it...so glad I got a new one...thanks for the help guys

    Yeah..it is I believe it the problem...I got like an 1/8 of an inch of play in it

    I have a 1981 cb750 custom..my clutch won't disengage at all..new cable don't help..I opened the side cover their is oil in the engine but the bike has been sitting many years...I noticed my clutch basket itself is moving front to back like over 1/8 of an inch...I believe my whole basket is wore...
