the gasket kit should include the oil seals and valve rubbers. there are no special tools for these motor. then again i'm a machanic so i have ton's of tools LOL. i would replace the cam chain tensioner anyways. if your gonna throw out your old case's, i will take them.

i always soak the float needle over night in oil and if they don't slide out easy, i use a spring style center punch to free them up. nothing worse than breaking offf the little mount on a good rack of carbs.

i figured the seat was a problem lol. i'd just cut the seat area off and start over. unless you like the stock dual shock set up.

where are you located in michigan? i know a couple people with H1's that are always looking for parts.

you'll most likely notice it wanting to stall right when you come to a stop. just a little blip of the throttle and it'll be fine but it does suck when your stuck in stop & go traffic LOL

i never understood that hole filling. my matic has 71-76 carbs, with pod's, with the hole and i never had a problem. i've rebuild other carbs with the hole's and never had a problem.
