    maxi dwell is the name of the plate. i can't think of anybody remaking them off hand but they pop up every now and then. they are a sweet setup and real easy to set up. i have one sitting around for a project i'm gonna start on when i find time.

    Engine case replacement.

    the gasket kit should include the oil seals and valve rubbers. there are no special tools for these motor. then again i'm a machanic so i have ton's of tools LOL. i would replace the cam chain tensioner anyways. if your gonna throw out your old case's, i will take them.

    need help with carbs

    i always soak the float needle over night in oil and if they don't slide out easy, i use a spring style center punch to free them up. nothing worse than breaking offf the little mount on a good rack of carbs.

    you'll most likely notice it wanting to stall right when you come to a stop. just a little blip of the throttle and it'll be fine but it does suck when your stuck in stop & go traffic LOL

    internal carb mods

    i never understood that hole filling. my matic has 71-76 carbs, with pod's, with the hole and i never had a problem. i've rebuild other carbs with the hole's and never had a problem.
